ABOUT NADIA

Nadia was born and raised in Italy, then lived in the UK for 20 years where she trained as an artist with French and South African teachers.
 
Nadia says: “I paint with instinctual feeling, excluding everything that does not arise from my emotional world. My artworks revolve around my states of mind, and are the results of the profound responses that life has slowly awakened in me; I frequently depict these in portraits of women, as the most authentic means I have discovered to convey my feelings and sensations.”

Nadia is an advocate for women’s rights, self-determination and independence; with her art, she aims to further the feminist cause by inspiring women to feel more empowered.
